Manages full-cycle recruiting and selection process for positions within assigned functional area by collaborating with partners to identify ideal candidate skills and experience needed; sourcing a diverse candidate pool using various methods (for example, cold calling, social networking, job board/internet mining) while promoting employment value proposition; planning and executing the interview process; communicating expectations, feedback, and status information to candidates, customers, hiring managers, cross-functional partners, and other stakeholders throughout the selection process; providing selection recommendations for functional areas and business unit positions; managing the offer process, including negotiating and communicating offer information, compensation, and benefits; managing the candidate feedback process; and ensuring selection process documentation is completed and entered into human resource systems.
Monitors effectiveness of recruitment strategies by analyzing and communicating hiring results (for example, demographics, diversity, retention); collecting feedback and implementing initiatives to improve recruiting program; generating, analyzing, and presenting recruiting activity reports; analyzing client and candidate satisfaction rates; and refining programs based on analyses.
Plans, manages and executes external hiring events by identifying point(s) of contact for colleges and universities, diversity career fairs, and conference centers; overseeing venue selection and reservation, cost negotiation, and catering; reserving audio and visual equipment and participant accommodations; booking and arranging participant travel and transportation; ordering and shipping recruiting materials; disseminating travel itineraries, event agendas, travel directions and event program overview; ensuring event venue meets specifications; presenting to and communicating with a broad audience to promote the brand and build interest in the company.
Sources talent and makes or facilitates hiring decisions for exempt and non-exempt positions by developing a pipeline of candidates for positions through various sourcing techniques (for example, campus events, career fairs, online job boards, social networking sites, associations); determining when and if to utilize third-party assistance (for example, agencies, faculty, organizations) for staffing needs; communicating with candidates to promote the brand and build interest in the company; reviewing and determining if applicants meet minimum qualifications; and coordinating with hiring managers and Recruiting team to identify and meet staffing needs.
Ensures effective on-boarding and management of new hires including interns by coordinating and facilitating the on-boarding process; completing paperwork (for example, I-9); communicating policies, guidelines, company expectations, and culture; managing and updating documentation as policies change; addressing associate policy infractions (for example, attendance issues, performance opportunities); conducting one-on-one meetings; providing career development advice and opportunities; determining when to involve senior management in employment decisions; and processing candidate reimbursements (for example, expenses, relocation).
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments for Recruiting by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.

Traveling is necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position.
Travels domestically to and from multiple facilities or work-sites requiring consecutive overnight stays.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, human resources, or related field OR 2 years experience in recruiting, human resources or related field.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- 1 year of sales experience.
- 1 year experience in working with third-party staffing agencies.
- 1 year experience in college recruiting.
- 1 year experience working in and generating reports in human resource information systems (for example, PeopleSoft) and applicant tracking systems.
- 1 year experience using recruiting tools (for example, internet, job boards, social media).
