Manager- Compliance, Safety and Asset Protection, Sparks, NV
This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple departments. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary.

- Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
- Supervise and manage associates and leaders in area of responsibility by giving direction, monitoring performance and providing feedback; identifying training and development needs and providing opportunities for learning and growth; teaching, supporting and modeling eCommerce and company policies and procedures; and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates, leaders and managers.
- Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety) and implement operational improvements.
- Monitor and ensure area of responsibility's compliance with eCommerce and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures and directives by developing, distributing, and/or maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
- Oversees warehouse daily operations by monitoring and driving facility performance related to safety and security (e.g., security systems, fire protection, safety programs, audits to identify potential loss, food safety, process safety management); and monitoring and ensuring associate compliance with state and federal regulations (i.e. OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT, FDA, EPA, etc.) relating to daily operations.
- Prepare, review, and/or analyze business reports, and use information to identify operational improvements (e.g., production, quality, safety).
- Forecast staffing, workload and performance results to meet business demands for workload and performance results for area of responsibility.
- Identify and ensure associate, customer and supplier concerns are resolved, using own judgment or consulting others when needed.

- Manages Asset Protection Operations - Leverages knowledge of and expertise in asset protection procedures (for example, identifying and analyzing security risks and criminal activity, analyzing signs of shrink, conducting investigations) to drive quality asset protection operations. Teaches, utilizes, and enforces company and regulatory policies, standards, and procedures throughout area of responsibility and quickly identifies and addresses problems or improvement opportunities. Puts procedures in place to ensure that associates receive training and fully understand and apply the procedures for protecting the safety and security of associates and assets within the facility. Implements guidelines and measures to maintain customer satisfaction and ensure proper compliance with asset protection standards.
- Customer/Member Centered: Focus on the Customer/Member - Reviews customer/member-focused data and adjusts performance to address findings. Promotes and supports associate efforts to exceed customer/member expectations. Informs associates on how to identify and locate resources to meet the diverse needs of customers/members.

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, ECommerce, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management, Criminal Justice, Safety, Environmental) and 1 year experience in an operations/distribution/eCommerce/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments / areas OR 1 year experience as a eCommerce Compliance, Safety, and Asset Protection Area Manager OR 3 years in a management role in Compliance, Safety, and Asset Protection or safety field developing and executing strategies to reduce accidents and minimize loss (e.g., accident prevention, theft deterrence, safety, fire protection and environmental management) supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees OR 1 year experience as a eCommerce Operations Manager.
- Both Bachelor's Degree in an industry related field (e.g. Criminal Justice, Criminology, Safety, Environmental) and 3 years in a management role in any industry supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees
1 year experience monitoring and managing compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA, DEA)
Certification in an Asset Protection related field (e.g. Loss Prevention Professional (LPP), Certified Forensic Investigator (CFI), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Safety & Health Technologist (OHST))
