Walmart New Product Innovation

Walmart New Product Innovation is a scrappy and entrepreneurial team with access to the resources of the world's largest retailer. We're building cutting edge technology from our offices in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and SoHo, NYC.

This past fall, our team launched Walmart InHome, a service that delivers fresh groceries from your local store directly to your kitchen or garage fridge. The service is now available in three cities - Kansas City, Pittsburgh and Vero Beach. As InHome expands to new markets, the team is also beginning to work on new products and services for Walmart customers.

Our team needs an engineer who is eager to work in a small and nimble cross-functional team that supports various projects within the innovation arm of Walmart. You will work closely with other engineers and product teams to build high-performance service APIs to support InHome and other membership-based products. The right person for this role is someone who is passionate about being a part of a dedicated team that is building scalable systems that will be used by millions of Walmart customers.

  • Knowledge in building highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable services
  • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study with 4+ years of relevant industry experience

  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Health, dental, and vision Insurance
  • Commuter benefits
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • A large, open workspace in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood
  • Kitchen stocked with fresh fruits and snacks
