What you'll do at

The Advanced Analytics Specialist is responsible for conducting data-driven strategic analyses and developing internal decision-making tools/products to enable retail team decision making. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of data analytics (SQL) and some experience in data science (R or Python) with an interest in developing these skills further. Additionally, they should have the ability to influence key stakeholders in cross functional teams and conceive of and articulate the potential impact of projects for both the customer and the organization.  


  • Drive advanced analytics combined with an intensive focus on ML solutions and deployment 
  • Experience writing and deploying ML within GCP, Azure, and Hive environments (role requires hands on coding within R, Python, SQL)
  • Learn, code and deploy new ML/AI architecture such as Kubernetes
  • Analytical support to leadership of Analytics and Strategy team and business senior leadership as required
  • Drive hands on development of visualization of ML model output in various platforms including R Shiny and proprietary systems
  • Lead and conduct ad hoc analysis on wide variety of subject matter from forecasting, site analytics, finance, marketing and retail analysis
  • Hands on development of advanced forecasting methods leveraging MLs via R and Python while sourcing data from cloud environments


  • Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience 
  • STEM undergraduate degree preferred
  • Preferred eCommerce experience
  • Preferred MBA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences on analytical subject matter
