Position Description

The Insight team helps to power WMG’s Sales and Marketing organization by delivering actionable insights and business intelligence at scale to all levels of the business. In this role, you will lead a team to develop solutions for complex, ambiguous and high-visibility business challenges. You will set and execute on a vision for your team that reflects your deep analytical expertise and business understanding of omnichannel advertising. You will be a thought partner to Sales and Marketing, covering new advertiser acquisitions, existing account management and our product and partner strategies. You will partner with these teams to understand the insights required to manage and grow their business and leverage cross-functional teams to develop and land solutions that meet their needs at scale. You are deeply curious and persistent in gaining knowledge about our products and go-to-market strategy. Our team of analysts and scientists collaborate closely to spot and analyze customer needs and trends. In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses. 

Required Skills and background:

  • 15+ years of experience, including consulting, or research for leading brands.
  • Communication, presentation, and project management experience.
  • Experience in a client or customer-facing role persuading clients and driving action based on data
  • Knowledge of quantitative research methods and considerations
  • Experience in consumer internet and social media
  • Experience with performance marketing concepts
  • Experience as a manager with a track record of building teams and developing talent
  • Experience in the languages of data manipulation (e.g., SQL, R, Python), data visualization (e.g., Tableau), and data environments.
