About the Team: Marketplace Partnerships  

The goal of the Walmart eCommerce Marketplace Partnerships Team is to maximize the value of existing partnerships and source, evaluate, and execute new partnerships to drive growth.  We do this primarily through new seller acquisition, key program adoption, and acceleration of the overall Marketplace Growth team strategy/roadmap.  At Walmart we truly value our Partners as an extension of our business and want to assure that they have the support they require to provide an excellent experience for their clients/sellers.   

About the Role: Channel Development Specialist 

  • Support the management of our strategic partners by collaborating with the Channel Account Managers to drive business results
  • Actively manage the incoming seller applications and assure they are effectively making their way through the acquisition pipeline to onboarding
  • Work with the Channel Partners to understand their needs and provide timely responses to their requests
  • Engage with other teams across the Org to insure transparency and open communication
  • Manage the 1:Many communication strategy for the Bronze Tier Channel Partner
  • Collaborate on special projects and initiatives tied to partner growth
  • Support marketing functions to get more sellers live on the Marketplace faster

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in client management or Channel Sales
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with executive level stakeholders  
  • Startup mentality: scrappy, creative, drive and passion to be best-in-class
  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and an ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Track record of delivering results and ability to demonstrate measurable results to business and customer KPIs
  • Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced start-up like environment
  • Be the customer: You have a deep understanding of how to connect with and develop amazing experience for customers/partners
