About the Position

  • As Digital Brand Specialist you will be supporting Walmart’s Everyday Living Category Private Brands by defining and executing its digital brand architecture and design
  • You will drive eCommerce-specific digital expansions and partner with general managers, agencies, and product development teams on launch strategies
  • You will also work closely with the Walmart U.S. Stores brand team to drive marketing programs, new product launches, major design/packaging changes, and brand architecture consistency for shared brands
  • You will manage key vendor relationship for Private Brand vendors within Household and pursue strategic opportunities with vendors to create dotcom only items

Responsibilities

  • Understands the vision of the Brands and the roles they play in different categories
  • Analyze and interpret regular sales reports that show Private Brand performance in total EDL, Household, and subcategory relative to overall business results
  • Conducts recurring analysis to inform the brands’ strategic direction, brand positioning and value proposition
  • Keeps up to date with product trends within categories
  • Identifies opportunities to improve brand performance through leveraging our assortment and looking for areas in which to develop assortment
  • Maintains product category data to determine conversion rates for multiple products across all three departments
  • Evaluates customer reviews, recognizes trends, considers recommendations from site merchandising and develops observations for brands
  • Identifies opportunities and implements tactics to optimize online customer experience and website usability for multiple products within brands
  • Enters and maintains SKUs for multiple products
  • Manages and monitors onboarding and item set-up for multiple products
  • Effectively navigates multiple systems and sites required to maintain and enter SKUs
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

Collaboration

  • Collaborates with category team members, site merchandising, supply chain, and Walmart U.S. Stores team
  • Understands SKU overlap and impact on other areas of the business
  • Works with Site Merchandising to understand recommendations and analytics for the brands
  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business or related field
  • Interest in longer term strategic thinking along with the tactical challenges typically seen in this business
