What you'll do at

 The digital consumer brand group is incubating a new brand rooted in modern American wardrobe staples at very affordable prices. We are developing an omni apparel brand that will offer women’s, men’s and children’s clothing across DTC, Walmart Stores, Walmart eComm, and our own branded standalone stores. We are dedicated to serving the true range of Modern America, creating a better wardrobe foundation that works for every walk of life. We are rewriting the rules of American essentials.

What you’ll do…

  • Work with the Head of Women’s and girl’s design to create seasonal concept, color and style direction
  • For the first year especially, you will need to be both player and coach as we manage the heavy lifting of creating a new brand
  • Help to support in creating design presentations for business partners internally and in Bentonville
  • Help to sketch seasonal designs for both presentations and sketch hand offs
  • Manage seasonal color palettes and swatching
  • Seasonal concept research
  • Help create a new brand and its culture
  • Focus on the customer when developing new product ideas


  • Have at least 2 years of experience in the women’s design industry and a strong passion for design
  • Are an effective communicator comfortable with interacting with all departments and all levels of co-workers
  • Know how to put together a design presentation and create boards
  • Have a top-notch sense of style and trend
  • Are organized and great at prioritizing your workload and meeting deadlines, even when things get crazy
  • Know how to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • Thrive in a small team environment
  • Ideally have experience in a start-up environment
