What you'll do at

New Product Development Lead for Glow Habit, under supervision of Head of Brand & Product Marketing, will lead product development and sourcing to develop Glow Habit product lines. The ideal candidate has expertise in skincare and/or haircare product development and is eager to join a fast-growing team with evolving roles and responsibilities.


  • Manage and drive the day-to-day new product development process, from concept to launch
  • Lead all phases of formula development and new product innovation
  • Develop product briefs, formula feedback, copy and claims, artwork and regulatory deliverables
  • Manage suppliers in development of new products to include monitoring and maintaining on-time delivery of critical project milestones
  • Monitor and analyze trends, consumer insights, competitive launches, scientific and industry developments to input into product strategy, assortment and concepts
  • Optimize existing product portfolio, e.g., regimen development, updating or replacing formulas as needed, and keeping product offering relevant and true to brand philosophy
  • Review all samples/submissions as needed for quality
  • Develop and manage relationships with supplier
  • Responsible for lab briefs and communication with labs/chemists
  • Partner closely with Creative to create a holistic product experience including the packaging
  • Partner closely with cross functional teams to ensure timely product launches, managing risks and understanding tradeoffs along the development process while delivering products with the highest standards for quality and performance
  • Drive technical strategies, e.g., technical IP, proprietary raw material blends / stories, clean and free of claims
  • Drive clinical claims, and consumer testing during the development
  • Support training for customer support, including usage instructions, Q&A’s, etc.


  • College degree with 7+ years relevant work experience in skincare product development, strongly preferred
  • Experience and strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers
  • Passionate about skincare and the beauty industry
  • Experience managing Cross functional projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects through strong prioritization and planning
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing collaborative environments
  • Is a self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Is a team player, flexible and able to adapt to changes
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically with exceptional attention to detail
