What you'll do at

The Walmart US eCommerce Brand Incubation team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join as the Content & Social Media Director for, a new incubated beauty brand, Glow Habit

Glow Habit is the first beauty brand to launch out of the Walmart eCommerce brand incubator, a wellness-focused, multi-category beauty brand designed to be accessible for all people to enjoy. The Content & Social Media Director will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing team working to bring this new brand to market across physical stores and DTC dot com. The team is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing team member to develop and oversee all content strategy and creation across channels, including management of the brand’s social media. 

What you’ll do…

  • Contribute a strong understanding of the current trends in content and social media marketing
  • Using the lens of the target consumer and the goal of increasing brand awareness and engagement, develop and continue to evolve the differentiated brand voice and content style 
  • Develop and manage a robust content and social calendar designed to support broader marketing initiatives and brand goals (including but not limited to photo, video, blog, etc)
  • Leveraging your strong aesthetic sense and knowledge of beauty and wellness trends, work in partnership with creative team to generate visual assets designed to achieve marketing goals
  • Oversee all copy creation for the brand, including but not limited to web copy, ad copy, marketing copy, product copy, packaging, etc
  • Continually identify new and emerging channels for content and community building
  • Oversee day-to-day of the brand's social media presence including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, creating strategies for community growth and engagement
  • Manage and grow the  influencer program in partnership with brand’s agency
  • Develop metrics, standards, and best practices within content and social to rate and track performance on an ongoing basis

Qualifications...

  • Minimum 5 years of total work experience (including internships) 
  • Direct experience managing social media and creating brand content across channels
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Knowledge of beauty, personal care or wellness preferred 
  • Strong work ethic and a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
  • Forward-thinking, innovative with an interest in the latest trends in beauty
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Highly experienced with Microsoft Office suite
