We are leading the charge around what experience in the workplace means, and are creating some pretty cool ways for people to engage with our brand, be their best selves, and see Walmart as a great place to work. Our team is growing, and we are looking for someone to drive and cooridinate the end-to-end new hire experience for our Hoboken eCommerce associates.

Challenges you’ll be tackling:

  • Helping to reinvent the way we onboard talent across the eCommerce family of businesses
  • Creating captivating storytelling moments to immerse new hires into a full 360 of the business


  • Act as the point of contact and air traffic controller for all onboarding stakeholders, including HR Operations, IT, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and People Experience teams
  • Prepare for new hires’ arrival by working closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, IT and other stakeholder groups
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly new hire orientation, including ensuring presentation content is up to date, managing relationships with stakeholders and preparing all materials for new associates
  • Continuously improve and iterate on the overall new hire experience, programs and events
  • Diagnose and help solve for friction points and process breakdowns
  • Be the face of the new hire experience, including helping new associates navigate through systems and culture, answering ad hoc questions and being the go-to point of contact over their first 90 days
  • Be an advocate for new hires and our People Experience team

Experience & Requirements
