What you'll do at

The Baby team is working at the heart of the Walmart eCommerce mission; to save busy families money and time. As part of this team, you will have direct responsibility for the customer experience on baby products and essentials that America’s families buy every day – from diapers and baby formula to cribs and car seats, and more.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is a intellectually curious, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, self-starter to join our team as Retail Strategy Analyst.  The Retail Strategy Analyst position is central to the growth, efficiency, and success of Baby Registry and will have exposure across retail, merchandising, strategy, product, supply chain, finance, and more.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy, data analytics, creative thinking, and is looking to gain additional real world operating experience prior to attending a top business school. 

This position will report directly to the Category Manager, Baby Registry and will be located in our San Bruno, California offices.

What you'll get to do: 

  • Collaborate with the Baby Leadership and Baby Registry leadership teams on the development and execution of short and long-term strategies and partnerships which exceed customer expectations across various channels and drive growth, adoption, and engagement with Walmart Baby Registry
  • Design and perform complex multi-variable analyses, on a continuous and ad-hoc basis, to determine resolutions that clarify and address operational and business concerns
  • Drive performance customer analytics, including producing weekly and monthly reports that support partnership efforts and highlight key insights and trends

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years experience at a top tier strategy consulting firm or a top tier investment bank
  • Self-starter looking to gain experience across eCommerce, product, and B&M in helping scale a fast growing business
