Walmart Media Group (the digital ad sales arm for Walmart.com, Jet, Hayneedle, Online Grocery, Vudu, etc.) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. Walmart Media Group is looking for a Senior Ad Ops Search Analyst to join our team in San Bruno. We are looking for an individual who loves digging into data, troubleshooting, learning new technologies and solving difficult problems.  As the Senior Ad Ops Search Analyst, you will be responsible for driving ad revenue through WMG’s search channels.    

Responsibilities 

  • Lead team of Ad Ops Search Analysts
  • Work closely with the Campaign Management team to drive campaign and brand performance 
  • Develop and iterate on best practices for channel optimization 
  • Level 1 troubleshooting and technical support for WMG advertisers and ad campaigns 
  • Create documentation and SOPs 
  • Dive into investigations and communicate outcomes to management and leadership teams. 
  • Provide feedback to product team for making process efficient and scalable. 
  • Update Weekly Reporting Dashboards 
  • Assisting with trafficking ad campaigns 

 

Minimum Requirements 

  • 5-6 years of experience in Digital Ad Ops, SEM, or Analytics 
  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience 
  • Experience managing small agile teams
  • Superior Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups) 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines 
  • Strong knowledge of campaign lifecycle management, ad sales process, trafficking, QA, performance analytics/ reporting. 
  • Comfortable working with large data sets using a variety of tools 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Passion for digital media and advertising technology
