Walmart Media Group (the digital ad sales arm for Walmart.com, Jet, Hayneedle, Online Grocery, Vudu, etc.) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers. 

Walmart Media Group is looking for a buy side inventory manager to join our fast-growing operations team in San Bruno. This is a new role where you will be responsible for curating our network supply. This includes building and managing publisher and supply partner relationships, negotiating PMP deals and evaluating content quality technologies. You will work closely with the media buying and analytics teams to evaluate inventory performance 

Responsibilities 

  • Contribute data driven insights for developing successful sales strategies and brand performance 
  • Manage and grow WMG’s relationships with SSPs and premium publishers 
  • Curate and negotiate PMPs for various inventory channels including CTV, Pre-Roll, and Display. 
  • Monitor and optimize IVT, site quality and brand safety 
  • Create bespoke inventory for key suppliers 
  • Keep up-to-date with supply-related industry changes, new channels and devices, case studies and regulatory impacts  
  • Collaborate with WMG teams to determine the optimal media mix solutions  
  • Identify new ways to grow inventory with our data-focused/audience-driven business 

Minimum Requirements 

  • 3-4 years’ experience in Programmatic Advertising 
  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience 
  • A great depth of understanding on the online advertising industry: desktop, mobile (web/in-app), and video 
  • Expertise in working with DSPs, ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimization platforms  
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation abilities 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Passion for digital media and advertising technology
