About the Job

In this role, you will be working with a team of product managers and engineers to revolutionize the shopping experience. As part of the Catalog and Discoverability team, you will focus on difficult problems that drive customer engagement and satisfaction. Our platform manages all of the product data displayed to Jet consumers and drives the shopping experience by allowing category managers to dynamically merchandise products. You will:

  • Plan and coordinate all moving pieces of our product development process, including defining and writing user stories, organizing and prioritizing inbound requests, managing ongoing questions from business stakeholders about active work, and collecting user feedback
  • Work directly with a cross functional team including individuals from Site Management, Category Management, and Shopping Experience to create the product specifications needed to enhance our current products and support new products
  • Enhance the consumer experience by defining and understanding product usage metrics and tracking requirements for new and existing product features, and ensure quality implementation
  • Identify the data we should gather and write tracking documentation in product specs
  • Perform analyses to extract actionable insights that will help drive product decisions
  • Be a subject matter expert on the product and collaborate with business and tech teams to bring products to market and support our existing products

About You

  • Highly analytical. Able to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data and can effectively communicate insights with stakeholders who may have little understanding of subject matter
  • Extremely detail-oriented and enterprising
  • Able to proactively problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with user engagement metrics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar)

Bonus Points

  • Background in ecommerce, consumer brands, and/or B2B retail platforms
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets
  • BA/BS in economics, computer science, math, or similar experience (writing code for hobby projects etc.)
  • 1-2 years experience in product management role
  • Understanding of SQL and API testing
