The ideal candidate has a demonstrated passion for working with data – from creating processes, to collecting data, to driving insights from vast quantities of information. You will be responsible for analyzing large quantities of data to help the Supply Chain team and other parts of the organization make decisions, building our next generation supply chain systems and processes, and synthesizing large and complex data sets into clear, impactful metrics and reports. Beyond analytics and systems, this role requires strong strategic and business acumen and a deep understanding how our business drives the larger Jet.com value proposition.
Aligns and leverages multiple cross-functional teams to deliver key business objectives by leveraging cross-functional relationships to align strategic relationships to achieve business goals related to talent and development; providing leadership and direction to a cross-functional internal team
Synthesize large, complex data sets into clear, impactful metrics and reports that will help influence operational and product changes across the organization
Communicate findings to leadership across Walmart/Jet and partner cross-departmentally to come up with recommendations
Lead through daily example, contributing to our values, our norms, and our high standard of performance

5+ of relevant professional experience in a highly analytics, data intensive and/or strategic role
BA/BS degree in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent practical experience
Superb Excel, financial modeling, and SQL skills
Hands-on experience with VBA, R, Python, Looker, Tableau or other data analysis/visualization tools
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques
