What you'll do at

You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth day to day operation of the Training Department within the fulfillment center focused on ensuring Jet customers receive their orders.

About the Job

The Leads that are part of this team will serve as the face of Jet and will be in charge of all training efforts, both when new JetHeads join the team and when current JetHeads need to learn a new skill. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Implement training plans as mapped out by leads and managers to provide all associates proper coaching of all functions
  • Use various training methods with employees
  • Create a positive experience for new employees by teaching the importance of Jet culture
  • Represent the Big 6- Love Jet, Smash the Status Quo, Bounce Forward, Get Stuff Done, Embrace Your Weird, Be Kind
  • Provide feedback to leads and managers regarding performance during training and help identify knowledge gaps
  • Assist in the design of training materials and prepare all materials for use
  • In addition, one of the most important aspects of your job is to lead change at lightning speeds... our growth is relentless
  • Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each 
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head 
  • Walking in the FC and around area with great frequency 
  • Continual standing and/or walking an average of 5 miles daily

  • Strong technical skills and communication skills
  • Approachability– willingness to answer questions and advise new associates
  • Detail- oriented, with strong organizational skills
  • Efficient with time management and self-starter
  • Able to work with diverse work group and provide consistent training
