Position Description 

The Learning & Development Coordinator is an expert in learning practices to help support associates be their best for our customers. This position supports the L&D Supervisor and the creation and delivery of L&D solutions. The L&D Coordinator assists in the creation of scalable, innovative and measurable solutions that engage learners and meet business needs.

About Partner Operations

The Partner Operations department includes a team of associates who provide a variety of technical and operational support for suppliers, vendors, and merchants (our partners) who are selling products on our marketplace. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports and contributes to all learning activities both in structured/formal learning settings (workshops, classroom training) as well as on the floor (demos, side-by-sides)
  • Manages the tasks associated with learning activities such as preparing materials for course delivery, utilizing systems to monitor, track and report learning activities and incorporating trainee feedback
  • Enhances the learner experience by ensuring training environments are conducive to learning (i.e., thorough room set up, preparing learning aids)
  • Partners with Instructional Designer to ensure learning content is up to date, meets business standards and provides an engaging learning experience
  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholders such as Operations Managers, Business teams, Instructional Design team, Support Managers

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience and enthusiasm for creating and delivering training programs and initiatives
  • Passionate about learning, developing and growing associates
  • Excellent communication and deep understanding of best in class customer service practices and standards
  • Ability to choose appropriate training methods for each instance (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc)
