About the Role

On Jet, the proprietary SmartCart Savings dynamically encourages customers to shop in a way that is optimal for both the customer and Jet sharing rewards back with our customers. We are newly introducing SmartCart to Walmart.com.

The General Manager of SmartCart Savings will be the business owner for the savings programs on Walmart.com. This person will drive the strategy and execution and be responsible for the overall success of the program. The General Manager of SmartCart Savings will report to the Vice President of Pricing.

You will:

  • Lead the SmartCart Program end to end. This includes working with senior leadership to define the strategy, partnering with Product to launch the program, and continuously iterating and improving on the Program
  • Be responsible for the success of SmartCart on Walmart.com
  • Work closely with the Product, Retail, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams
  • Interact frequently with the CEO and the rest of the senior leadership team to engage in strategy discussions, share progress, and drive alignment on new tactics and approaches
  • Lead a cross-functional team including the direct team as well as dotted line relationships
  • Build a great team culture

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Retail expertise including customer-facing and operational knowledge
  • Strong strategic thinker
  • Proven leader with 5+ years of experience leading a large team of managers
  • Previous success managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability in developing actionable insights from large datasets
  • Strong communication skills and highly effective in a cross-functional environment
