What you'll do at

 

The Manager, Project and Operations for Fashion is responsible for strategic planning & analysis, program management, and governance related activities for Fashion Operations. This role will be a part of the Fashion Operations team and will play an integral role in identifying, prioritizing, developing, analyzing, and communicating business strategies for various initiatives. Serving as the main point of contact and communication lead for Fashion, you will be accountable for successful management of assigned projects while making sure all deliverables are on time & within budget with a positive and fierce go getter attitude. This person must be able to communicate clearly, understand complex situations while being able to explain and digest in a simplistic way, understand the business needs, gather project requirements, set timelines, and manage cross functional team expectations.

This position reports to the VP, Fashion Operations and partners closely with Fashion Leadership on strategic initiatives, day-to-day operating activities, and special projects.

Responsibilities:

Projects/Strategy:

  • Partner with eCommerce Fashion Group leadership to drive and support key projects that will enhance the digital experience and streamline operational processes
  • Oversee all aspects of projects including business requirements documentation, stakeholder analysis, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope, definition and project communication; Responsible for ensuring project plan is fully up to date, recaps are distributed, and required tasks are completed on time
  • Gather and provide post-implementation analysis ensuring we have the required resources and processes in place for long-term success
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in metrics and data analytic programs and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
  • Research and mine data, perform complex analysis, and apply strategic thinking to support decisions, to clearly articulate issues
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop business models, opportunities, and strategy recommendations to support Fashion objectives
  • Be customer-centric and focused on delivering seamless experiences
  • Constantly analyze the competitive landscape to understand and influence trends that are shaping the industry

 

Operations:

  • Identify and prioritize key business needs, quickly identifying actions for improvement with an agile mindset to roll new ideas out, test and improve
  • Lead and execute against developed project plans and ensure that business cases and analyses completed allow for data driven decisions and recommendations
  • Proactively identify and dig into problems/common pain points, escalating ones that require attention with proposals of next steps/solutions
  • Consolidate and streamline communication: Help team stay on top of organizational priorities/deadlines/market trends/etc. without overwhelming them with information
  • Distill and translate complex information into clear takeaways and actions for the team
  • Anticipate and surface tooling/training/other resource needs and work with cross-functional teams to meet those needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, retail or related field and 4 years’ experience in business, retail or related field OR 6 years of experience in business, retail or related field 
    •  
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • 7+ years of relevant experience
    • At least 2 years experience as a consultant / Associate at a management consulting firm
    • eCommerce, retail and technology experience
    • MBA
