About the Job:

The Shopping Experience (ShopEx) team is responsible for the customer-facing on-site experience for the many categories (e.g. Home & Décor, Health & Beauty, Electronics etc.) as well as cross-category features (e.g. Search Front-end, Homepage, Product Details Page etc.) on Jet. As part of the larger Customer Experience team, the ShopEx team utilizes customer research, behavioral metrics and competitive analysis to inform the design and build of experiences which help the customer in her entire shopping journey starting with Mobile and spanning onto Desktop. As a ShopEx Product Manager, you’ll be in charge of driving significant parts of one of our workstreams by managing customer-facing product features from discovery to build. You’ll work closely with the Batman Build Product Manager, UX/UI leads, Analytics, User Research as well as engineers across multiple superhero teams in order to launch impactful features in a Mobile-first fashion.


  • Understand the bigger picture of the end-to-end CX vision and workstream strategy, tactics and measures in order to inform and execute decisions regarding the on-site experience
  • Maintain a 90-day roadmap and backlog, by identifying and collecting inputs for priority features and enhancements that would add value to the customer experience on site based on Jet goals, key stakeholders, as well as the competition and the market
  • Be the product owner for workstream-specific product features, managing the entire product process from discovery to build. Work in partnership with development teams and cross-functional teams throughout Jet to successfully launch and iterate new features on the site
  • Evolve features, roadmaps and even processes based on results from research, Analytics and ongoing collaboration with key stakeholders (both internal and 3rd party). Be a trusted voice representing those stakeholders when they are not in the room, and be the source of deep knowledge and technical understanding for your product area
  • Constantly monitor customer metrics across Mobile and Desktop to help identify actionable areas for improvement, working closely with the other workstreams in aligning backlogs for maximized customer impact
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Retail and Site Management to align and execute on business and seasonal product needs and opportunities
  • Work closely with counterparts from Walmart,, Hayneedle, Bonobos and Modcloth to share key business insights and assist in their roadmaps on, as it touches relevant workstreams

About You: 

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field (Computer Science or MBA background a plus)
  • 3+ years of e-commerce, product/project management, consulting or start-up experience
  • Experience in working with teams on technical, creative and analytical aspects of taking features from idea to reality
  • Skilled at defining and prioritizing product ideas, using common analytics and A/B testing methodologies
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, as this role requires cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; a self-motivated attitude with the ability to deal well with ambiguity
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams
  • Deep interest in learning the processes and systems necessary to optimize a world class e-commerce experience
